We are a traditional Yoga Festival BUT with a twist…

We aim to come together through Yoga to CONNECT, RECHARGE, to have FUN and GIVE BACK to our community…

Our mission is twofold:
  • To host a diverse yoga festival in our community, taught by renowned yoga teachers, musicians & speakers to equip attendees with tools for managing stress and anxiety in their day-to-day lives.
  • To allocate festival profits to mental health and suicide awareness programs within the Grand Valley.

100% OF THE FESTIVAL’S PROCEEDS GO TO MENTAL HEALTH & SUICIDE AWARENESS PROGRAMS IN THE GRAND VALLEY

Malas, Mantras & Meditation – From Sound to Silence

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Malas have served as a tool throughout history to count our mantras so we can learn to start to quiet our minds.

Join us in this class as we learn the ancient history of Malas and how to use them for a Japa Meditation practice. Japa Meditation consists of chanting a Divine word or phrase repetitively. Those who practice know it as the best purifier of thought, word and deed in this Kali Yuga. It is widely known that meditation rewires the brain in deeply beneficial ways. It is less widely known that repeating sacred mantra does the same in even less time. The better the practice the faster the transformation. Join us as we explore the relationship between mind, thought, mantra, and happiness.

This workshop focuses primarily on practice, with discussion of the science of sound through our program.
